The coaching staff of Dejan UFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Niculae Oneț had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 14 minutes into the game, one of Dejan UFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viorel Aluneanu in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneliu Bîlbă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Victor Curăreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Bîlbă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scheia's goalkeeper Ernest Mortu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sever Muja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dejan UFC booed when Scheia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Zăvoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scheia's Ernest Mortu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Scheia from getting a goal against them. Corneliu Bîlbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Aluneanu in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Scheia's goalkeeper Ernest Mortu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Prunaru. Victor Curăreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Dejan UFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Scheia throughout the match.
