Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doru Ceaușu kicked off to start the match. Moise Buta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Siadbei having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Doru Ceaușu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dobrotesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Ceaușu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Dobrotesti's Mihai Siadbei got control of the ball when Moise Buta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corneliu Bîlbă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Vulcan's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Moise Buta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Siadbei having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Doru Ceaușu had to leave the field with a concussion. If David Vulcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Ionică Stolojan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mihai Siadbei. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, David Vulcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobrotesti's supporters rose to their feet, but David Vulcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Bîlbă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corneliu Bîlbă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Vulcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ionică Stolojan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Dejan UFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sever Muja hit a great ball. Ionică Stolojan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionică Stolojan was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Dobrotesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Pintilie to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Dejan UFC got a freekick which was hit by Aron Oprișan. If Mihai Pintilie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Dejan UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Buta to maneuver through the defense. Mihai Siadbei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Stolojan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Pintilie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Horea Bălăiță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dejan UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dobrotesti the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dejan UFC's Horea Bălăiță got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
