Valeriu Jitaru hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Tudor Panin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 6 minutes, Andrei Miulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boju and the F.C. APULUM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrei Miulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Tudor Panin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eusebiu Chitoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the F.C. APULUM defense, Eusebiu Chitoran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionică Burtea. The F.C. APULUM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionică Burtea should have stopped the shot. Francisc Uncescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Panin in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Boju getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Andrei Miulescu hit a great ball. Costică Berbec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eusebiu Chitoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Boju's goalkeeper Francisc Uncescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costică Berbec. After 41 played minutes F.C. APULUM got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Amuguroancei. In the 48th minute Leontin Goanță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Burtea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Tudor Panin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Uncescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Berbec in the 66th minute of play forced Boju's goalkeeper Francisc Uncescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boju's Francisc Uncescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Berbec in the 67th minute of play. Francisc Uncescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Panin in the 69th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Leontin Goanță rounded F.C. APULUM's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Eusebiu Chitoran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of Boju were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant F.C. APULUM side.
