Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Barnova getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Mădălin Isbășoiu hit a great ball. Manole Isvoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Niculae Şerbănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Gigi Neguțu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnova were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after ACSMU Poli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gavril Pipirig took the corner. Mădălin Isbășoiu made a great header on Barnova's corner, it was just that ACSMU Poli's Romeo Rucăreanu managed to reach the ball for a save. 23 minutes into the game, Barnova's Dumitru Slătineanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Rucăreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, ACSMU Poli's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Neguțu came free, but Romeo Rucăreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ACSMU Poli's Romeo Rucăreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Slătineanu in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Dumitru Slătineanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barnova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Dumitru Slătineanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Rucăreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Slătineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigi Neguțu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dumitru Slătineanu to make the kick off. Manole Isvoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Şerbănescu having to interfere. Romeo Rucăreanu came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barnova's Ionel Reznic. But to his dismay, Ionel Reznic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 59th minute Manole Isvoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Şerbănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, ACSMU Poli's Manole Isvoreanu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Şerbănescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 64 played minutes Barnova got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Corvin. In the 72nd minute, Dragoş Iordan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Gigi Neguțu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romeo Rucăreanu. Gigi Neguțu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. With a little luck, ACSMU Poli's Romeo Rucăreanu got control of the ball when Ionel Reznic tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romeo Rucăreanu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ionel Reznic sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Iordan in the 86th minute of play forced Barnova's goalkeeper Niculae Şerbănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Slătineanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romeo Rucăreanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Dumitru Slătineanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 90th minute.
