Vassilis Xanthos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thrasivoulos Koulouris in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, President's Anastasios Velakos got control of the ball when Gigel Encuțu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to President getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Giannis Bournouxouzis hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, President's goalkeeper Anastasios Velakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Encuțu. 27 minutes into the game, Michalis Galanis threw the ball into play from the sideline. President's Marios Papadamous quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Thrasivoulos Koulouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hjalmar Lidberg in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vassilis Xanthos saved Epirus Celtics from getting behind. A collision led to Epirus Celtics getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Theodosis Poniridis hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Giorgos Kolokithas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Michalis Galanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasios Balafoutis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vassilis Xanthos having to make a save. Vassilis Xanthos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Lidberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. President's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Akis Vakouftsis 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0.

Daniil Prikourakis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Eugenios Britzolidis in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Epirus Celtics's Theodosis Poniridis. Gigel Encuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thrasivoulos Koulouris got free with Vassilis Xanthos in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giorgos Kolokithas kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Epirus Celtics's Eutichios Poniros got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Thrasivoulos Koulouris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Vassilis Xanthos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thrasivoulos Koulouris kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Renos Pergaminos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Epirus Celtics's Michalis Galanis tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, President's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Vakouftsis came free, but Anastasios Velakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasios Velakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Encuțu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Giorgos Kolokithas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Epirus Celtics's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave President the free kick. Giorgos Kolokithas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Epirus Celtics's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
