The Mongols's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frida Kahlo Artists the free kick. In the 8th match minute, The Mongols was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Höijer to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Urban Vall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michael Miers, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Richard Tingelholm took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Michael Miers to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute, The Mongols's Urban Vall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michael Miers. Michael Miers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 24 played minutes The Mongols got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Blomqvist. A collision led to The Mongols getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tomas Askberg hit a great ball. Gösta Markusson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Matthew Baggott sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and The Mongols's Herbert Björklund didn't even have to move. After 32 played minutes The Mongols got a freekick which was hit by Magne Smefeldt. The crowd rose to their feet as The Mongols's Urban Vall slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michael Miers. That made the score 4-0 after 39 minutes of play. A collision led to Frida Kahlo Artists getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Thomas Harker hit a great ball. Reginald Hoare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Björklund having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urban Vall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes The Mongols got a freekick which was hit by Esbjörn Höijer. Thanks to some nice moves Matthew Baggott could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Herbert Björklund however easily saved by the left post. If Urban Vall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Urban Vall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Miers was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 69 minutes Frida Kahlo Artists's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Urban Vall who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to The Mongols's Sven-Olof Blomqvist getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Matthew Baggott's late challenge caught a The Mongols's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthew Baggott helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of The Mongols booed when Frida Kahlo Artists was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Baggott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magne Smefeldt hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Frida Kahlo Artists's Michael Miers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Vall in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, The Mongols was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Smefeldt to maneuver through the defense. The Mongols's Magne Smefeldt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thomas Harker, made in the 87th minute of the game. Michael Miers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urban Vall in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Frida Kahlo Artists was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eamon McDonnell to maneuver through the defense. Michael Miers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Vall in the 96th minute of play. Many of Frida Kahlo Artists's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Frida Kahlo Artists may have spent more time on the ball, but The Mongols were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
