Tage Classon got his second yellow card in the match during the 23rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 24th match minute, The Mongols was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Classon to maneuver through the defense. Lars-Erik Lindkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Mattsson in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars-Erik Lindkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jens-Åke Vinström kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When Victor Mattsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 49 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lars-Erik Lindkvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After the first half Töreboda were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Åke Andberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Lars-Erik Lindkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Gustafsson in the 54th minute of the match. Töreboda's Sven-Arne Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Lindkvist having to interfere. When the match was over Töreboda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Mongols throughout the match.
