In the 15th minute, Kevin Reid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Reid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ben Hazel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bent Raison in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ağam Tähmäzov in the 33rd minute of play forced Gloria Steinem Liberty's goalkeeper Ben Hazel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 66thth minute of the game Kevin Reid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Qarabag CF's Feruz Abbasäliyev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kevin Reid in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Feruz Abbasäliyev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 69th minute, Kevin Reid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feruz Abbasäliyev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Ben Hazel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bent Raison's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Tzanko Ayvazov took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ben Hazel. Ben Hazel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 81 minutes in the game Nasos Chomatas did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anísio da Costa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Reid in the 83rd minute of play forced Qarabag CF's goalkeeper Feruz Abbasäliyev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Kevin Reid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feruz Abbasäliyev was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Tzanko Ayvazov put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ben Hazel.
