I.'s Paolo Diagur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victor Tinoco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Q. T. I. reached it. Rigoberto Ignazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from He Yang Wei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Kimi Gordeenko notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Q. T. I.'s Rigoberto Ignazio. Rigoberto Ignazio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rigoberto Ignazio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from He Yang Wei went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, Tortuga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Laffitte came free, but Victor Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Tortuga FC's Kimi Gordeenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Ignazio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kimi Gordeenko came free, but Rigoberto Ignazio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Ignazio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isac Rolfsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Q. T. I.'s Rogelio Laffitte got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Tortuga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Florian came free, but Victor Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
