With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iosif Dabizas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Tinoco saved Tortuga FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Continental's zone, Kimi Gordeenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juss Suur came out of the goal and Kimi Gordeenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Iosif Dabizas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Continental were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Didi Duarte made a kick off. Victor Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Şuţu in the 51st minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Genílson Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Continental's Juss Suur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Continental's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Pirani came free, but Juss Suur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Continental left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tortuga FC.
