The supporters of Isótopos V.M. booed when ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Paio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Paio in the 14th minute of play. Miguel Merentiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustín Brei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Merentiel ran back to his position shaking his head. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Israel Paio got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Isótopos V.M. got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Burutzagi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Paio in the 26th minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Gabirel hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Segundo Burutzagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Merentiel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agustín Brei came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Merentiel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. Emilio Baumar scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agustín Brei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th match minute, Isótopos V.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Abeita to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Eloy Gabirel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloy Gabirel during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Agustín Brei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Marcelo Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isótopos V.M.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Tajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustín Brei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Tajo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. In the 88th minute, Blas Brun made a precise shot to the right of Agustín Brei. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Isótopos V.M. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
