Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Gloria Steinem Liberty's Kevin Reid started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bulek Idris scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ben Hazel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Penang Island's Ben Hazel threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonard Sinuraya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ben Hazel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Djati Simamora's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 19 minutes, Djati Simamora made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gloria Steinem Liberty's Ben Hazel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Daus Wijaya with Djati Simamora as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neymar Aguero in the 27th minute of play forced Gloria Steinem Liberty's goalkeeper Ben Hazel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kevin Reid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kia Idris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Reid in the 30th minute of play. Djati Simamora struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ben Hazel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penang Island. After 35 minutes of play, Gloria Steinem Liberty's Kevin Reid made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kia Idris was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute Penang Island were awarded a corner. Joko Febrian went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bulek Idris got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ben Hazel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bulek Idris received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ben Hazel came out and tried to block the shot, but Bulek Idris slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 41st minute. Kia Idris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Reid in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bulek Idris made a kick off. Ben Hazel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Penang Island's Bulek Idris shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Kevin Reid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kia Idris having to interfere. With a little luck, Penang Island's Kia Idris got control of the ball when Christopher Norfolk tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Penang Island's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Newman came free, but Kia Idris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daus Wijaya made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sipiongot Budikusuma however managed to control. In the 65th minute, Kevin Reid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gloria Steinem Liberty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Penang Island's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Kevin Reid scored to the left of an out of position Kia Idris, making the score, 4-4. 75 minutes in the game Daus Wijaya did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Djati Simamora. 77 minutes into the game, Gloria Steinem Liberty's Christopher Norfolk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kia Idris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-5. 81 minutes into the match, Gloria Steinem Liberty's Kevin Reid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kia Idris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Gloria Steinem Liberty's Kevin Reid nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kia Idris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-6. Kia Idris was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Kevin Reid capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kevin Reid really showed his touch with that goal: 4-7. A collision led to Penang Island getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Daus Wijaya hit a great ball. The Gloria Steinem Liberty players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
