Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) DÏVÄLÄ's Antonio Orozco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Panama's Ramon Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio-César Morales in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Peren got free with Fabio Muñoz in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramon Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Orozco in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, Panama's Pedro Villalaz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Muñoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucho Chavez was slow to take the kick. During this time DÏVÄLÄ's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Panama's goalie and right to Bruce Walsh. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Panama's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 23rd minute Panama were awarded a corner. Max Moscoso went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rooney Garrido in the 26th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Ramon Peralta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiliam Peren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Muñoz having to interfere. The supporters of DÏVÄLÄ booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Moscoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute DÏVÄLÄ were awarded a corner. Lucho Chavez went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 35th minute Wiliam Peren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Muñoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DÏVÄLÄ's Fabio Muñoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save DÏVÄLÄ from getting a goal against them. Wiliam Peren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiliam Peren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Fabio Muñoz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ramon Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rooney Garrido in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wiliam Peren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Pedro Villalaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Muñoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rdth minute of the game Leonidas Arias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DÏVÄLÄ's Fabio Muñoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to DÏVÄLÄ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Antonio Orozco hit a great ball. Panama's Ramón Morales was substituted for Max Moscoso. Ramon Peralta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rooney Garrido in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rooney Garrido in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Peralta saved Panama from getting behind. Ramon Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Orozco in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Simon Crowell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Panama booed when DÏVÄLÄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Crowell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Pedro Villalaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Muñoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiliam Peren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fabio Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rooney Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Wiliam Peren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Panama fully deserved thier win.
