Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 2nd minute Leonidas Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Peralta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Rodolfo Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Buenaventura FC's zone, Wiliam Peren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Ramos came out of the goal and Wiliam Peren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Peren came free, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Max Moscoso went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Melih Cevdet Savlet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Peralta. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Peralta should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rigoberto Lozano was slow to take the kick. During this time Buenaventura FC's players had a chance to rest. Bilgehan Ülgener was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Carlos Eduardo Ramos made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Wiliam Peren sent off a good shot on target. Panama's Ramon Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Dias in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Albertinho Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Wiliam Peren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Peren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Eduardo Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Dias came free, but Ramon Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Américo Oberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wiliam Peren made the kick off in the second half. Ramon Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Lozano, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Panama's Victor Agurto got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Peralta having to make a save. Ramon Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Cevdet Savlet, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Carlos Eduardo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Villalaz in the 61st minute of play. Rodolfo Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Eduardo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Villalaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Melih Cevdet Savlet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramon Peralta, 0-2. Panama's Totín Morris was substituted for Max Moscoso. 80 minutes into the match, Wiliam Peren notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Buenaventura FC's Carlos Eduardo Ramos. Carlos Eduardo Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 minutes of play, Panama's Wiliam Peren made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Eduardo Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramon Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Buenaventura FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
