In the 7th minute, Victorio Gora fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Antonio Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ibrahim Lawal in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wollstonecraft Rockers's zone, Higinio Weterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Bedford came out of the goal and Higinio Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Wollstonecraft Rockers's goalkeeper Ian Bedford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Xabel. The crowd rose to their feet as Efrain Ilixo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian Bedford. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. The supporters of Triunvirato FC booed when Wollstonecraft Rockers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Saunders didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Ilixo in the 30th minute of play forced Wollstonecraft Rockers's goalkeeper Ian Bedford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, James Nicklin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wollstonecraft Rockers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Triunvirato FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wollstonecraft Rockers's James Nicklin got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 44th minute, Triunvirato FC's Elpidio Frutos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ian Bedford. Ian Bedford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. James Nicklin was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Victorio Gora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Bedford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Richard Saunders fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wollstonecraft Rockers's protests and gave Richard Saunders a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Wollstonecraft Rockers getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Richard Saunders hit a great ball. Ian Bedford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Ilixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Errando scored 4-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Bedford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 61 minutes, Julian Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triunvirato FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Iraido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Victorio Gora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Bedford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Bedford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Wollstonecraft Rockers got a freekick which was hit by Scott Wheeler. Richard Saunders was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69th minute, Richard Saunders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Frutos in the 72nd minute of play forced Wollstonecraft Rockers's goalkeeper Ian Bedford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Bedford came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Triunvirato FC's Victorio Gora. But to his dismay, Victorio Gora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Triunvirato FC made a substitution. Uriel Rios replaced Urbano Xabel. In the 79th minute Victorio Gora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Bedford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Elpidio Frutos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Bedford. Wollstonecraft Rockers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Frutos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Wollstonecraft Rockers were furious when David Henderson was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 91st minute, David Henderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wollstonecraft Rockers's Ian Bedford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Frutos in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Triunvirato FC were the better team. Triunvirato FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
