When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Marcel da Rocha sped through Modlau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lew Yashin. The Red Devils players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
