Spectators: 8040 (Terracing: 6031, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) After a defensive mix-up in Modlau's zone, Herbert Wojtkiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lew Yashin came out of the goal and Herbert Wojtkiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymoteusz Witek in the 12th minute of play. Lew Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tymoteusz Witek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Brygada RR fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Brygada RR's Rafal Rudnyak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Walery Dresik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Adamski in the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Konrad Adamski made a precise shot to the right of Walery Dresik. Brygada RR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Brygada RR booed when Modlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Blanc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Rafal Rudnyak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brygada RR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafal Rudnyak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Rudnyak in the 33rd minute of play. Herbert Wojtkiewicz scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lew Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Hugo Blanc fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Walery Dresik, passed just outside the right post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafal Rudnyak to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Blanc in the 50th minute of play forced Brygada RR's goalkeeper Walery Dresik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lew Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Wojtkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lew Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Witek in the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Brygada RR got a corner. Modlau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernard Kornaszewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Fioravanti in the 67th minute of play forced Brygada RR's goalkeeper Walery Dresik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modlau's Lew Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Rudnyak in the 71st minute of play. Lew Yashin was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Herbert Wojtkiewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herbert Wojtkiewicz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Lew Yashin was a little too slow when Herbert Wojtkiewicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-4. Herbert Wojtkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lew Yashin having to interfere. Brygada RR's Konrad Balonek got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Wojtkiewicz in the 87th minute of play. Bernard Kornaszewski's late challenge caught a Modlau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Kornaszewski helped the player get up and apologised. Bernard Kornaszewski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Modlau's Hugo Blanc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walery Dresik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Brygada RR's Herbert Wojtkiewicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lew Yashin. That made the score 1-5 after 96 minutes of play. Brygada RR's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
