The throw-in from Radu Borza in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Mims's Ermanno Ottavi. The supporters of Chevaliers FC booed when FC Mims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Andreola didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Mims's Domenico Andreola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Augustin Ţopescu, made in the 15th minute of the game. FC Mims's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Chris-George Chevalier scored to the left of an out of position Attilio Fiordelisi, making the score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute of the match FC Mims got a corner. Chevaliers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fedele Carnevale ran over to the corner to take the kick. Attilio Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Borza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 30 minutes of play, FC Mims's Arturo Baciadonne made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Ailenei was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, FC Mims's Arturo Baciadonne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niculae Ailenei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 40th match minute, FC Mims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Garofalo to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, FC Mims's goal looked a bit too open when Chris-George Chevalier came free, but Attilio Fiordelisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Baciadonne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Ailenei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. If Chris-George Chevalier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chevaliers FC made a substitution. Sorin Gurgui replaced Radu Borza. After the first half FC Mims were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristinel Pandele to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Chris-George Chevalier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Attilio Fiordelisi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris-George Chevalier in the 60th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Attilio Fiordelisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niculae Ailenei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Baciadonne, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ercole Trivelli charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 73rd minute Sorin Gurgui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Fiordelisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attilio Fiordelisi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris-George Chevalier went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute, Chris-George Chevalier made a precise shot to the right of Attilio Fiordelisi. FC Mims's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Chevaliers FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
