Rodolfo Gerber scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ioritz Hernainz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, America De Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Gerber came free, but Ioritz Hernainz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manga Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ioritz Hernainz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Skagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ioritz Hernainz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Skagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, America De Cali's Sansone Poso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabiano Pombal. Fabiano Pombal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Fabiano Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Telmo in the 22nd minute of play. Ioritz Hernainz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Skagen in the 25th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Robinho Porto in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by America De Cali's Marquez Lando. Fabiano Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sansone Poso in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Gerber in the 31st minute of play forced America De Cali's goalkeeper Ioritz Hernainz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Gerber in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ioritz Hernainz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabiano Pombal came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by America De Cali's Sansone Poso. But to his dismay, Sansone Poso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Fabiano Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sansone Poso in the 39th minute of play. Fabiano Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sansone Poso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Luís Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. America De Cali's Ioritz Hernainz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bresal McPhil in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR made a substitution. Valério Silva replaced Robinho Porto. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sansone Poso to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, America De Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquez Lando to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Koehler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ioritz Hernainz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Fabiano Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sansone Poso, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. André Luís Maranhense hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Gomesano Gatica shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabiano Pombal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manga Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goalkeeper Fabiano Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. America De Cali made a substitution. Ronaldo Messi replaced Sansone Poso. Fabiano Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Messi in the 84th minute of the match. Ronaldo Messi took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Pombal. Fabiano Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
