Libertad Abendano charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Libertad Abendano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of America De Cali booed when Munat Tayka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Libertad Abendano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Orlondon Lando fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored America De Cali's protests and gave Orlondon Lando a yellow card for diving instead. Munat Tayka's Ruperto Abeitia was substituted for Mitxel Abella. Orlondon Lando kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. America De Cali's Bikendi Oyarzabal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Abeitia in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaur Abaurre to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the game, Orlondon Lando landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Ruperto Abeitia's late challenge caught a America De Cali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruperto Abeitia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Munat Tayka's Ruperto Abeitia got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes, America De Cali's Andrew Brasa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geleberto Abeijon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in America De Cali reached it. When America De Cali's Pellas Ocerin in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Munat Tayka's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to America De Cali getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Vincent Burguete hit a great ball. If Gaur Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bikendi Oyarzabal having to interfere. When Gaur Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Munat Tayka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaur Abaurre couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaur Abaurre in the 80th minute of play forced America De Cali's goalkeeper Bikendi Oyarzabal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryan Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bikendi Oyarzabal having to interfere. In the 88th play minute Ruperto Abeitia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bikendi Oyarzabal. 0-2. Geleberto Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Burguete in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Munat Tayka left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than America De Cali.
