Melquiades Salvatore was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Ezequiel Montay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ezequiel Montay really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Hugo Jerrold fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Hugo Jerrold a yellow card for diving instead. Melquiades Salvatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Montay's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Pedro Rojelio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Rogelio Ponc tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melquiades Salvatore saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Luciano Frisco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Salvatore should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Mirande came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Salvatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Montay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Salvatore had great luck who in the 37thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rogelio Ponc from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 45thth minute of the game Rogelio Ponc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Terremoto FC's Ezequiel Montay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Sarracino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Terremoto FC's Ezequiel Montay in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Terremoto FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Frisco scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Salvatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Rogelio Ponc sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. If Raul Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Librado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luis Iratxo. That made the score 5-1 after 67 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Montay in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Salvatore saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ezequiel Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terremoto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Montay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Salvatore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Donato Nalo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-2. Ezequiel Montay charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Montay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Terremoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Montay. In the 89th match minute, Terremoto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Txilar to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95thth minute of the game Reynaldo Mikolas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Terremoto FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
