Rafael Felder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Eguen in the 8th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Serafino Justin mouthed his way into the referee's book. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jamel Boyd sped through Plebeyos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Manuel Goyeneche. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Primitivo Eguen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plebeyos's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Eguen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Felder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the S.D. Bajen defense, Leandro Seme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Felder. The S.D. Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Felder should have stopped the shot. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Frank Meyer sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Seme came free, but Rafael Felder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Meyer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Meyer slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Primitivo Eguen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Felder was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After 41 minutes of play, S.D. Bajen's Jamel Boyd made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Tyrone Ellis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Rafael Felder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Eguen in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Elizardo to make the kick off. Primitivo Eguen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Seme got free with Rafael Felder in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, S.D. Bajen's Jorge Baez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jorge Baez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of S.D. Bajen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorge Baez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Plebeyos's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Abalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Felder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Felder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Eguen in the 61st minute. Primitivo Eguen scored 5-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Felder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, S.D. Bajen's Rafael Felder got control of the ball when Primitivo Eguen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Plebeyos's Primitivo Eguen made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Felder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Plebeyos's Niceto Marino was substituted for Benito Veremundo. When Primitivo Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Plebeyos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Eguen couldn't finish the play. Alfaro Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Rafael Felder made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Meyer came free, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Rafael Felder managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Plebeyos's Primitivo Eguen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rafael Felder came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Plebeyos's Alfaro Moreno. But to his dismay, Alfaro Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamel Boyd during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jamel Boyd hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
