It was a penalty for Sojourner Truth Pioneers! Diego Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Wright in the 18th minute of the match. William Rennie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Diego Laurentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Erlantz in the 23rd minute of play forced Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goalkeeper Philip Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goal made the score 3-0. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Sojourner Truth Pioneers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Wright didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Erlantz was the one to do the kick off. The Racing Club fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Racing Club's Ildefonso Erlantz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 56th match minute, Sojourner Truth Pioneers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rod Williamson to maneuver through the defense. William Rennie came free in the 59th minute and tried to tip the ball over Diego Laurentzi, but to the joy of Racing Club's supporters the ball went over. Camilo Javiero made in the 65th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Oscar Mederi immediately put the ball in play. 66 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Wright came free, but Diego Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Marin in the 71st minute of play. Eleuterio Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Barea's late challenge caught a Sojourner Truth Pioneers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Barea helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Barea. 77 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Eleuterio Malvin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philip Palmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Philip Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Malvin in the 80th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Ildefonso Erlantz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Philip Palmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Marcial Marin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Palmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Oscar Mederi in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Albert Shaw. After 97 minutes, Rod Williamson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sojourner Truth Pioneers and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Sojourner Truth Pioneers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rod Williamson didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Racing Club's Godfredo Barea in action when he in the 99th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Racing Club had won after a very even match.
