Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Carberry started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo got control of the ball when Loid De Keuster tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match Silver Squad AFC got a corner. Velho Barreiro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrik Ooms ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Silver Squad AFC's corner Izydor Czysta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iker Hidalgo quite easily take care of the ball. After 7 minutes, Rogério Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Squad AFC and the Velho Barreiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Arenas came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Michel Siqueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter did a great save. Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 11th minute of play. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Arenas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Hidalgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Radzyminski in the 15th minute of play. Waud De Geyter came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Velho Barreiro FC's Fernando Arenas. But to his dismay, Fernando Arenas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Radzyminski came free, but Iker Hidalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Radzyminski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Arenas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Velho Barreiro FC's Fernando Arenas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waud De Geyter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Iker Hidalgo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loid De Keuster in the 36th minute. Izydor Czysta hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Saldanha in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Saldanha in the 47th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Silver Squad AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Velho Barreiro FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Fernando Arenas made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Guerra in the 51st minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Radzyminski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loid De Keuster took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Hidalgo. Iker Hidalgo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Válter Saldanha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velho Barreiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Iker Hidalgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Loid De Keuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Velho Barreiro FC booed when Silver Squad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Van Caubergen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Hidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 75th minute of the match. With 83 minutes on the clock, Edmílson Cosme commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 84th minute, Edmílson Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Benjamin Carberry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Hidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Velho Barreiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Luis to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iker Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loid De Keuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Carberry in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Hidalgo saved Velho Barreiro FC from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Velho Barreiro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
