Luc Van Hinnendael came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj. But to his dismay, Tomáš Požgaj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a little luck, FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael got control of the ball when Tomáš Požgaj tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bruges from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ján Novák to make the kick off. Luc Van Hinnendael came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj. But to his dismay, Tomáš Požgaj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Balázs Borbély kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, one of FC Bruges:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomáš Požgaj did an outstanding performance 88 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 11-0 to the right of an irritated Luc Van Hinnendael in the goal. In the 94th minute Ján Novák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luc Van Hinnendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Lasse Kroner. In the 97th minute of the match Tomáš Požgaj shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luc Van Hinnendael showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
