Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dino Maquiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Ballette to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the game, Ignace Jacobs threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kickers United's Iwan Banach quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Maquiano in the 12th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Jasper Opdebeeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kickers United fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Kickers United's Will Montens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jasper Opdebeeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Maquiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Maquiano came free, but Jasper Opdebeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Dino Maquiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jasper Opdebeeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 22 minutes into the match, Kenny Van Den Eynden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. FC Bruges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenny Van Den Eynden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Jasper Opdebeeck came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Kickers United's Dino Maquiano. But to his dismay, Dino Maquiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Julius Balthazar got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Kickers United booed when FC Bruges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignace Jacobs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes, Alexander Höijer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kickers United and the FC Bruges players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kickers United's Alexander Höijer got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Blas Lertxun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kickers United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Lertxun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Vandekerkhove took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jasper Opdebeeck. Jasper Opdebeeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Jasper Opdebeeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Montens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Dino Maquiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasper Opdebeeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Will Montens came free, but Jasper Opdebeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erwin-Alexander Kerselaers was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Höijer came free, but Jasper Opdebeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Dino Maquiano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jasper Opdebeeck. The goal made the score 0-8. Jasper Opdebeeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Maquiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kickers United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Jasper Opdebeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Van Den Eynden in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goalkeeper Jasper Opdebeeck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dino Maquiano. FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Van Den Eynden in the 72nd minute of play. Jasper Opdebeeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Höijer in the 74th minute of the match. FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Van Den Eynden in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Timothy Ballette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Maquiano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised Jasper Opdebeeck 79 minutes into the match. Benjamin Vandekerkhove struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jasper Opdebeeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kickers United. In the 84th minute, Kickers United's Will Montens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jasper Opdebeeck. Jasper Opdebeeck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. In the 95th minute, Alexander Höijer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jasper Opdebeeck. The goal made the score 0-15.
