Rodriguinho Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jürgen Klinsmann's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jürgen Klinsmann made a kick off. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when Blumenau Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Deilmison van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ATHLETICO PRaiano were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Blumenau Esporte Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robin van Persie took the corner. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Klinsmann in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jürgen Klinsmann in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Sousa saved ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Deilmison van Basten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Narciso Macedo. That made the score 2-3 in the 66 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Danil Shashkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho Sousa was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Jürgen Klinsmann took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodriguinho Sousa. Rodriguinho Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 82 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Klinsmann came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Blumenau Esporte Clube made a substitution. Tami Abraham replaced Danil Shashkov. After 93 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Chico Hermes. 97 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Narciso Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
