Erasmo Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Key, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fågelmara IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Jon Loarte scored to the left of an out of position Kjell Ennegren, making the score, 1-0. Ionel Bălăiță charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionel Bălăiță the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Fågelmara IK got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Bălăiță. In the 16th minute, Alfred Hajto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjell Ennegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience was convinced that Nils Jonsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Urbez was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Alf Key got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erasmo Urbez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Johan Björling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute of the match Fågelmara IK got a corner. Leon Sport Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alf Key ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Nils Jonsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Urbez was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute Alf Key shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Erasmo Urbez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Käcker in the 41st minute of play. Fågelmara IK's Kjell Ennegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Loarte in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Jon Loarte made the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Urbez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Jonsson in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrie Mühren came free, but Erasmo Urbez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kjell Ennegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Sport Club made a substitution. Giovanni Massa replaced Alfred Hajto. Giovanni Massa might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell Ennegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giovanni Massa ran back to his position shaking his head. Leon Sport Club's Erasmo Urbez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Käcker in the 62nd minute of play. Erasmo Urbez made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Lennart Käcker sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper Kjell Ennegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giovanni Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Ennegren having to interfere. Fågelmara IK's Thomas Bartlett was substituted for Nils Jonsson. Erasmo Urbez was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Thomas Bartlett capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomas Bartlett really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Oswaldo Talavera put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Leon Sport Club's Oswaldo Talavera got a free kick in the 79th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Erasmo Urbez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Erasmo Urbez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Käcker in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Fågelmara IK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Philip Eklund hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Arthur de Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell Ennegren. Fågelmara IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur de Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Thomas Bartlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Leon Sport Club had won after a very even match.
