The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Consejo del Mate's Vicente Pernia quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Apolinar Guijarro, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erlantz Bermejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Cordero hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Erlantz Bermejo might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Orlando Gatti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erlantz Bermejo ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Belo Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo Orlando Gatti. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Castel in the 25th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Xesc Jorquera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti did a great save. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erlantz Bermejo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Consejo del Mate from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 36th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Apolinar Guijarro hit a great ball. Alvaro Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurino Serena having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Belo Alvarez came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño was substituted for Vicente Santana. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belo Alvarez to make the kick off. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo. But to his dismay, Erlantz Bermejo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belo Alvarez in the 56th minute of play. Bolo Bolaño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Maurino Serena made a huge save. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 96th minute of the match. A.D. Alcorcón were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Consejo del Mate for a fine match.
