Cristian Urti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Ponce went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to MKS Pogoń Szczecin getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Wieslaw Dudkowski hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's Celestino Elorri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiktor Dudkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Urti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovando Vera in the 9th minute of play. Wiktor Dudkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benicio Alonso in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Benicio Alonso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wiktor Dudkowski. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. Cristian Urti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Ponce in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Urti saved El Azulgrana from getting behind. Cristian Urti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Li Xu Cheng in the 20th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Clodoveo Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Urti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Urti came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Clodoveo Ponce. But to his dismay, Clodoveo Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Clodoveo Ponce struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Cristian Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Pogoń Szczecin.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Ponce to strike the kick off in the second half. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Clodoveo Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 minutes, Clodoveo Ponce made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. El Azulgrana's Cristian Urti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Ovando Vera came free, but Cristian Urti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Urti made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Clodoveo Ponce sent off a good shot on target. El Azulgrana made a substitution. Napoleon Rozanski replaced Benicio Alonso. In the 64th minute of the match MKS Pogoń Szczecin got a corner. El Azulgrana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Malicki ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on MKS Pogoń Szczecin's corner Ovando Vera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Urti quite easily take care of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Ponce notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of El Azulgrana's Cristian Urti. Cristian Urti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Primitivo Ourente hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Clodoveo Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wiktor Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Rozanski in the 74th minute of play. The corner ended in Vinicio Franco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Wiktor Dudkowski did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in El Azulgrana's zone, Ignacy Rzegotka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Urti came out of the goal and Ignacy Rzegotka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimundo Corderro hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes, Clodoveo Ponce made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. El Azulgrana's Cristian Urti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Ponce in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Urti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Azulgrana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Malicki was slow to take the kick. During this time MKS Pogoń Szczecin's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MKS Pogoń Szczecin's corner Sebastian Malicki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Urti quite easily take care of the ball. Ovando Vera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Urti having to make a save. The MKS Pogoń Szczecin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
