A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Dalmacio Gaitano hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Dario Astigar threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacy Rzegotka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. SAN LORENZO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Ovando Vera scored to the left of an out of position Dario Astigar, making the score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Nuñez came free, but Wiktor Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes MKS Pogoń Szczecin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmondo Di Renzo who took care of the corner kick. Wiktor Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacy Rzegotka in the 23rd minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Sebastian Malicki suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 23 minutes into the game, Artur Quintas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN LORENZO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Pogoń Szczecin the free kick. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Radomir Bazan was substituted for Sebastian Malicki. In the 25th minute, Artur Quintas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiktor Dudkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Wiktor Dudkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 34th minute of play. When Edmondo Di Renzo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SAN LORENZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Di Renzo couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiktor Dudkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 44th minute of the match Artur Quintas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Artur Quintas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dario Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Ponce in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Clodoveo Ponce made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Ponce in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Astigar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dario Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Ponce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Astigar. SAN LORENZO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Ponce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of MKS Pogoń Szczecin booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Tiniebra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovando Vera came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Firme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Ponce in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Astigar saved SAN LORENZO FC from getting behind. Dario Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ovando Vera managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovando Vera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovando Vera in the 80th minute of play. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovando Vera in the 85th minute of the match. Dario Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Ponce came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the MKS Pogoń Szczecin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
