Luiz Paulo Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Ladron in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Válbson de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. Elite™- FC Galácticos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson de Alcântara came free, but Jerônimo da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Juninho Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Motta Futebol Clube and the Elite™- FC Galácticos players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Umberto Marinho. With a little luck, Motta Futebol Clube's Umberto Marinho got control of the ball when Atacan Rahim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Umberto Marinho was a little too slow when Atacan Rahim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Ladron in the 35th minute of play. Léo Pinho got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Artur Sabóia. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atacan Rahim to strike the kick off in the second half. Motta Futebol Clube's Umberto Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Seco in the 53rd minute of play. Elite™- FC Galácticos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nikos Kladogennis in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Atacan Rahim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elite™- FC Galácticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Atacan Rahim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atacan Rahim in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Ladron in the 73rd minute of play. Válbson de Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jerônimo da Cunha made a huge save. With a little luck, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha got control of the ball when Dudu Hermes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lu Ladron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jerônimo da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lu Ladron got free with Jerônimo da Cunha in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the match, Válbson de Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. Elite™- FC Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Válbson de Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Umberto Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Vale in the 91st minute of play.
