Lu Ladron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Guillen Aguillar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillen Aguillar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Edgar Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Ruy Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aírton de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aírton de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Toscano in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Atlético Guidovalense got a corner. Motta Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dudu de Senna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Atlético Guidovalense's Dudu de Senna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aírton de Lima in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 19 played minutes Motta Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Aparecido. In the 24th minute, Motta Futebol Clube's Dudu Hermes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guillen Aguillar. Guillen Aguillar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 26th match minute, Atlético Guidovalense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Couto to maneuver through the defense. Lu Ladron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Guillen Aguillar made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Válbson de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillen Aguillar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 43 minutes into the game, Yuri Carneiro lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Guillen Aguillar. Lu Ladron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Guillen Aguillar made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Motta Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Toscano got free with Aírton de Lima in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Artur Sabóia notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Atlético Guidovalense's Guillen Aguillar. Guillen Aguillar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jim-André Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Aírton de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillen Aguillar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Ladron in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Edgar Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Guidovalense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruy Neves hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Guillen Aguillar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Ladron in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Dudu Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Aguillar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Motta Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Motta Futebol Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atlético Guidovalense for a fine match.
