Spectators: 171 (Terracing: 129, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florian Capasso took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Jonas Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Capasso in the 6th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trenton Long in the 16th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 19th minute, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Merusca F&P hanging dry this time. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Danilo Principe got a free kick in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Beard. Trenton Long fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro-Facundo Buffon having to interfere. Jospeh McNally took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Capasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Meleșcanu came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Fabian Meleșcanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jospeh McNally was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 45 minutes Brooklyn SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walmyr Novaes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Walmyr Novaes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jospeh McNally quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half Merusca F&P were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Cole to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ollie Mejia in the 54th minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merusca F&P's Florian Capasso came free and shot a quick shot against goal 56 minutes in the game, fortunately Jospeh McNally had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Capasso got free with Jospeh McNally in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rdth minute of the game Trenton Long who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roberto Bolts short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Jospeh McNally to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Cole in the 66th minute of the match. Merusca F&P made a substitution. Hélder Fonseca replaced Florian Capasso. Brooklyn SC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Merusca F&P's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gerardo Beard took the corner. Serginho Ramos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Bolt in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Cole in the 72nd minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Gerardo Beard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brooklyn SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Beard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Bolt scored 0-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jospeh McNally, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Fonseca got free with Jospeh McNally in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute, Ollie Mejia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Stacy McDonough. If Hélder Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Merusca F&P walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
