The supporters of Merusca F&P booed when ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Dominix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florian Capasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Poul Knoblauch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Quirino in the 7th minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Florian Capasso scored to the left of an out of position Poul Knoblauch, making the score, 1-0. In the 15th minute, Sílvio Luiz Quirino made a precise shot to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Merusca F&P's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poul Knoblauch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Capasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ got a freekick which was hit by Franz Gloz. Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Baita in the 35th minute of play. Florian Capasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Poul Knoblauch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Capasso in the 39th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Capasso made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Vihar Perchemliev got a free kick in the 51st minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was a little too slow when Robert Baita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 57th match minute, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes of play, Merusca F&P's Walmyr Novaes made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Poul Knoblauch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Merusca F&P's Hélder Fonseca was substituted for Florian Capasso. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Merusca F&P's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sílvio Luiz Quirino took the corner. Poul Knoblauch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Hélder Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Poul Knoblauch was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After 78 played minutes ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Cesaro. Jonas Cesaro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Hélder Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Poul Knoblauch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon got control of the ball when Iuri Nóbrega tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P's Hélder Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Poul Knoblauch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-4. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Merusca F&P fans cheered their team off the field, for while ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
