In the 13th minute, one of Randers A.F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Randers A.F.C.. After 21 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Børge Buhr. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Bamford in the 26th minute of play forced Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Pepe Argento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichlas Vesterdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Randers A.F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Iaki was slow to take the kick. During this time Naboonga Wild Katt FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 36th minute Patricio Bamford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Shelby kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Quentin Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Quentin Francis made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Randers A.F.C. defense, Quentin Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nichlas Vesterdahl. The Randers A.F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nichlas Vesterdahl should have stopped the shot. In the 54th minute, Quentin Francis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Naboonga Wild Katt FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Steenbeck in the 58th minute of play. Nichlas Vesterdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Quentin Francis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nichlas Vesterdahl. That made the score 0-3 in the 65 minute of play. Randers A.F.C.'s Øjvind Gulnæs was substituted for Zbyszko Drozdowski. Randers A.F.C.'s Adam Gullemann was substituted for Alberto Dunixi. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Morrison in the 70th minute of the match. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Shelby in the 72nd minute of play. In the 80th minute Paulo Díaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichlas Vesterdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Florencio Montrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Naboonga Wild Katt FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
