Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Escuadrón Mercenario from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Estevon Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qian Xing Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Högström in the 12th minute of play. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Estevon Abancens sped through Eleven Nation Army's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Qian Xing Wei. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Qian Xing Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Qian Xing Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Messias in the 24th minute of the match. Olof Högström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Lundkvist in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st minute, Wen Li Jun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Estevon Abancens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Qian Xing Wei was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Olof Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nando Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Estevon Abancens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Eleven Nation Army fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The Escuadrón Mercenario fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Escuadrón Mercenario's Estevon Abancens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 66th minute Estevon Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qian Xing Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei got control of the ball when Ramiro Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Olof Högström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eleven Nation Army's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Högström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Estevon Abancenss short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Qian Xing Wei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Estevon Abancens in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Qian Xing Wei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 86th minute, Sasoin Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peli Abalos in the 90th minute of play forced Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Qian Xing Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Escuadrón Mercenario's Qian Xing Wei threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Estevon Abancens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Escuadrón Mercenario booed when Eleven Nation Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevon Abancens in the 97th minute of play forced Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Qian Xing Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Escuadrón Mercenario walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
