Jo Evenstad hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Kuva-yi Milliye's Changeez Zeballos got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Grøneng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 36th minute Changeez Zeballos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Grøneng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Servet Polat in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Grøneng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erik Grøneng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Polat in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, Daustad's Erik Grøneng got control of the ball when Changeez Zeballos tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Kuva-yi Milliye getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Servet Polat hit a great ball. Tayyar Poyraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erik Grøneng came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Kuva-yi Milliye's Alvin Vestlund. But to his dismay, Alvin Vestlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 90 minutes into the match, Alvin Vestlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erik Grøneng, 1-4.
