After a rather tough play, lyptus's Kenneth Pejstrup got a free kick in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Arne Hageland took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nikolaj Frisdal to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Martin Stavnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daustad's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Stavnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolaj Frisdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Daustad's Arne Hageland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. lyptus's Nikolaj Frisdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save lyptus from getting a goal against them. Nikolaj Frisdal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Stavnes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Daustad's Nikolaj Frisdal threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arne Hageland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Christian Liknes might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikolaj Frisdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Liknes ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Daustad booed when lyptus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Günther Videbech didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Günther Videbech made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Mogens Steenbeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the lyptus and the Daustad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daustad made a substitution. Christian Miljeteig replaced Christian Liknes. In the 54th match minute, lyptus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mogens Steenbeck to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Hageland in the 56th minute of play forced lyptus's goalkeeper Nikolaj Frisdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, lyptus's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Hageland came free, but Nikolaj Frisdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Christian Miljeteig came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Daustad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Miljeteig couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd match minute, lyptus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Farris to maneuver through the defense. Tom Dyrnes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Nikolaj Frisdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Miljeteig, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. lyptus's Nikolaj Frisdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Hageland in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Daustad booed when lyptus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mogens Steenbeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daustad's Tage Kvammen got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Arne Hageland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daustad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 85th minute Arne Hageland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolaj Frisdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of lyptus booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Miljeteig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Arne Hageland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lyptus's Nikolaj Frisdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Christian Miljeteig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daustad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Miljeteig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daustad walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
