The Bierunese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ed de Cler scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Nigg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Ed de Cler made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Nigg. U21 Liechtenstein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Ralph Zünd could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Werner Kamps however easily saved by the left post. The U21 Liechtenstein players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bierunese were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Dupuy to make the kick off. The supporters of Bierunese booed when U21 Liechtenstein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenan Ott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Werner Kamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Dupuy in the 54th minute of the match.
