The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reynaldo Ruisaez hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to C. D. Evolucion getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Juan-Carlos Rosal hit a great ball. After 8 minutes C. D. Evolucion's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martín Ferreyra who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's corner Martín Ferreyra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teofilo Lordi quite easily take care of the ball. If Marcelo Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Cordero got free with Teofilo Lordi in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Cordero in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Lordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofilo Lordi was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Marcelo Cordero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Cordero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Marcelo Cordero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teofilo Lordi, 2-0. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Clinckspoor in the 24th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes C. D. Evolucion got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Carlos Rosal. Teofilo Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Cordero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 31st playminute. After some careless play in the C. D. Evolucion defense, Marcelo Cordero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofilo Lordi. The C. D. Evolucion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofilo Lordi should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Cordero scored 5-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teofilo Lordi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Marcelo Cordero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Teofilo Lordi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of C. D. Evolucion booed when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, C. D. Evolucion's Bustos Alceda got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Clinckspoor to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Marcelo Cordero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Lordi. C. D. Evolucion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Cordero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After a rather tough play, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Martín Ferreyra got a free kick in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, C. D. Evolucion's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Cordero came free, but Teofilo Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Marcelo Cordero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Lordi. C. D. Evolucion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Cordero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Cordero in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Lordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Marcelo Cordero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Emilio Lizar replaced Andre Vanhove. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Israel Igon replaced Cristobal Polo. 72 minutes into the game, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Lordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Haroldo Alfonso replaced Marcelo Cordero. If Israel Igon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. D. Evolucion's Teofilo Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Alfonso in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Haroldo Alfonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofilo Lordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Haroldo Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Alfonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Lordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Alfonso in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Lordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
