After 14 minutes of play, Del Materno Vengo's Urbano Tximitx made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Quinito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edelmiro Quinito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Turi to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Quinito came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Del Materno Vengo's Apolo Lalla. But to his dismay, Apolo Lalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Juan Pablo Gallinas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rigoberto Berart came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Pablo Gallinas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 26th minute. Isaac Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Rigoberto Berart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Pablo Gallinas in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Del Materno Vengo booed when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Gau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Quinito came out of the goal and Apolo Lalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Robustiano Geofredo got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Lalla in the 36th minute of play forced Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Edelmiro Quinito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Silvio Tipi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Quinito. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvio Tipi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Rodolfo Iratze took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Rigoberto Berart to make any attempt to save it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
In the 51st minute, Apolo Lalla made a precise shot to the right of Edelmiro Quinito. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. Edelmiro Quinito made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Urbano Tximitx sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute Rodolfo Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Berart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Del Materno Vengo's Rigoberto Berart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Iratze in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Rodolfo Iratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Berart was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-6. In the 96th minute, Rodolfo Iratze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-6. The Del Materno Vengo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
