Protegéerna's Paolo-César Maldini quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 14 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Golang came free, but Ingemar Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ken Golang got free with Ingemar Åberg in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BK Tåfjutt's Hampus Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 17th minute of play. Ingemar Åberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ken Golang in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hampus Vall. That made the score 2-2 after 59 minutes of play.
