Gilberto Abraão scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Palmquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Silvinho Macedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. André Palmquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Silverio Cordarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Cacá Matorin put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of André Palmquist. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Fredrik Billberg got a free kick in the 22nd minute. André Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. André Palmquist came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Picles de Pepino's Gilberto Abraão. But to his dismay, Gilberto Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 32 minutes into the match, Silvinho Macedo notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Protegéerna's André Palmquist. André Palmquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 35 minutes, Cacá Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picles de Pepino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cacá Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Abraão scored 1-6 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Palmquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivar Bäckman's late challenge caught a Picles de Pepino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivar Bäckman helped the player get up and apologised. Ivar Bäckman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivar Bäckman to strike the kick off in the second half. If Silvinho Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Martin Modig hit a great ball. André Palmquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacá Matorin went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Silvinho Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. André Palmquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Picles de Pepino's Maximilien Gourmelon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Martin Modig in the 77 minute of the game. When Gilberto Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Picles de Pepino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Abraão couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Picles de Pepino's Gilberto Abraão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Palmquist. André Palmquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. 93 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goalkeeper André Palmquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmo Xavier. 95 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goalkeeper André Palmquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacá Matorin. When the final whistle sounded Picles de Pepino left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Protegéerna.
