Spectators: 10991 (Terracing: 8244, Seating: 2528, VIP seats: 219) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wu Qi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pat Lloret in the 5th minute of play. Ingemar Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute Timmy Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Timmy Henriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingemar Åberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 15th minute Timmy Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Ulrik Söderlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Samurai's Bai Kun De. Bai Kun De was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the game, Wu Qi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ingemar Åberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Taha Campbell hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Petter Skarkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bai Kun De was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 39th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Bai Kun De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petter Skarkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bai Kun De read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Samurai's Taha Campbell got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ingemar Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 61st minute of play. Samurai's Bai Kun De proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai from getting a goal against them. Protegéerna made a substitution. Bo Låsberg replaced Fernando Arango. Petter Skarkman kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Ingemar Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Wu Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bai Kun De stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petter Skarkman's shot from short distance in the 86th minute.
