Ademar Mangueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ademar Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jörgen Tholsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Palmeiras de Plantão. José Augusto Viana stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jörgen Tholsson. 1-1. Aníbal Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ademar Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Godholm in the 33rd minute of play. Evert Haegg might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ademar Mangueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evert Haegg ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Hans's Leonardo Grep got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ademar Mangueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Godholm's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. José Augusto Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Augusto Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Hans booed when Palmeiras de Plantão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Palmeiras de Plantão got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Domingues. If Tommy Runberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Palmeiras de Plantão getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Wilson Andrade hit a great ball. Tommy Runberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ademar Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caio Paulista to make the kick off. If Leonardo Grep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Leonardo Grep lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Ademar Mangueira. Palmeiras de Plantão's Ademar Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Grep in the 60th minute of play. Adrianinho Domingues's late challenge caught a FC Hans's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrianinho Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Palmeiras de Plantão's Ademar Mangueira got control of the ball when Felix Godholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Felix Godholm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ademar Mangueira. The goal made the score 1-3. After having played for 75 minutes, Evert Haegg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Haegg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Palmeiras de Plantão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Paulista to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Felix Godholm got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The FC Hans fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when FC Hans's Leonardo Grep looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Haegg in the 88th minute of play forced Palmeiras de Plantão's goalkeeper Ademar Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Grep could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ademar Mangueira made a huge save. Leonardo Grep scored 1-7 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Mangueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ademar Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. FC Hans's Jörgen Tholsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Vargas in the 96th minute of play. FC Hans's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
