A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Petre Benga hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Bebeșel to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Cosme Rumaldo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nae Costin. Cosme Rumaldo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Flavio Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Vigil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nae Costin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Costin got control of the ball when Alfredo Roderigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo Olivar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Erubiel Artizar charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Artizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Artizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nae Costin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Rumaldo in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Bebeșel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Otsoko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Benga, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cosme Rumaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Leo Padro got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Vigil in the 60th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nae Costin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabricio Otsoko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Gagiu. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Fabricio Otsoko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Atletas Campesinos F.C. from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Cosme Rumaldo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Costin. Nae Costin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredo Roderigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nae Costin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. During the 84th minute of the match Erubiel Artizar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erubiel Artizar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 85 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Artizar. 90 minutes into the game, Petre Benga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletas Campesinos F.C. the free kick. Fabricio Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Benga in the 92nd minute of play.
