After 4 played minutes Informaniaticos got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Lizardi. Horacio Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Padro in the 4th minute of the match. Informaniaticos's Horacio Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Jakobe in the 8th minute of play. If Dionisio Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Nataniel to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Segundo Jaunti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Calvino was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Evaristo Pelagius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evaristo Pelagius really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Damaso Nataniel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Segundo Jaunti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Zeledon Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Jaunti having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Leo Padro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leo Padro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atletas Campesinos F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leo Padro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 41st minute, one of Atletas Campesinos F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletas Campesinos F.C.. The Atletas Campesinos F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Informaniaticos were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Jakobe was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Evaristo Pelagius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Calvino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Informaniaticos's Paulino Lizardi got a free kick in the 59th minute. Christian Raphael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Primeiro in the 71st minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Segundo Jaunti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Primeiro came free, but Segundo Jaunti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Atletas Campesinos F.C. defense, Dionisio Goren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segundo Jaunti. The Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segundo Jaunti should have stopped the shot. Eustaquio Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Weather. Informaniaticos's Gavino Primeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Informaniaticos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
