In the 9th minute Ian Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17thth minute of the game Fiori Proença who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Demarchi's Olívio Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Francisco de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Microsoft Team's Décio Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ian Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Mello in the 37th minute of play. Décio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Décio Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Mello in the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Ramón Mello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Squadra Demarchi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

After 53 minutes, Dráuzio Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Microsoft Team and the Squadra Demarchi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Adrianinho Quintal got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Ian Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Squadra Demarchi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Arantes couldn't finish the play. If Ramón Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Microsoft Team's zone, Ian Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Barbosa came out of the goal and Ian Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Microsoft Team defense, Francisco de Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Décio Barbosa. The Microsoft Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Décio Barbosa should have stopped the shot. Olívio Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Cafu Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Microsoft Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Squadra Demarchi the free kick. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Fabrício Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Décio Barbosa came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Squadra Demarchi's Ramón Mello. But to his dismay, Ramón Mello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eliseu Valle hit a great ball. Squadra Demarchi's Ramón Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Francisco de Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Décio Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco de Andrade got free with Décio Barbosa in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Microsoft Team's Décio Barbosa got control of the ball when Francisco de Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line.
