The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Abechuco in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Ovidio Ugaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Proença to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Baldomiro Millan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Café Veloz's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Millan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Virgilio Bidun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Barbosa. Microsoft Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Bidun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Décio Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Abechuco in the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Microsoft Team's zone, Benigno Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Barbosa came out of the goal and Benigno Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Microsoft Team getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dorian Catarinense hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Baldomiro Millan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Café Veloz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Ernesto Bertassi put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Microsoft Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Café Veloz a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Omar Urbes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Microsoft Team's Décio Barbosa. 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Abechuco made a kick off. Eusébio Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The Café Veloz fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Café Veloz's Baldomiro Millan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 59 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Tróia. Décio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Millan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Abechuco in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Décio Barbosa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 65th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Proença to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Café Veloz's Décio Barbosa threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldomiro Millan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 71 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Millan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Café Veloz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Microsoft Team the free kick. Nicasio Cidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute of the match, Benigno Abechuco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Décio Barbosa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 83rd minute Baldomiro Millan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Benigno Abechuco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Décio Barbosa. That made the score 0-5 in the 86 minute of play. Benigno Abechuco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Narciso Cardoso's late challenge caught a Café Veloz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Narciso Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Microsoft Team's Décio Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Millan in the 94th minute of play. Virgilio Bidun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Décio Barbosa made a huge save. Café Veloz played a much better game than Microsoft Team and deserved their victory. The Microsoft Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
